Unusual Kanayama tsuba with the NBTHK Hozon Paper. Resting horse with vividity. This motif is common for Eshu or Bushu tsubako but this is early piece and belogns to the high-end collection. Completely black color with well hammering. Prominent iron bones appear at mimi. Late Muromachi or Momoyama piece. Size of 69mm width, 73mm height, and 4-5mm thick. Accompanies custom made, double fitted kiri wood box.
