Hachinoki Akasaka Tadashige

Hachinoki means trees planted on a flower pot (bonsai). This design is found in Akasaka and Higo tsubas. Based on its superior quality, this tsuba seems to be attributed by the big-name hand and appraised as the Akasaka Tadashige by the NBTHK. Akasaka Tadashige is truly a self-explanatory tsuba maker. Refer to the description of Akasaka Tadashige sold previously. Personally, I've never seen the Hachinoki tsuba better than this piece. Size is also spectacular, 87.6mm X 83.2mm, 5.5mm thickness. High quality cushion kiri-box included.
